What to Expect during an Emotional Freedom Technique Session

Preparation for an EFT session

Before your session you will be sent a diagram illustrating the points that we will tap on during your session.

What happens during a session?

At the beginning of your session you will have time to talk with Deborah. She will listen to your specific concerns to find out what you would like to accomplish during your session.

Deborah will guide you through the tapping sequence and tap along with you.

Throughout the session Deborah will check-in with you and modify the session based on your experience. Often people experience emotions, have physical sensations (warmth, tingling, etc) or receive new insights and ideas during a session. This is normal and to be expected.

Along the way Deborah customizes and individually tailors the session to support you in getting the results you want and the benefits you desire.

How Many Sessions Should I Have?

This is difficult to determine up front, as each person and their life experience is unique. Almost everyone experiences benefits after the first session and some people find that one session is all that they need. Most people benefit from a series of a few sessions. Emotions, habits, and physical pain have many aspects and layers to them which may need more than one session to fully address.

Clients' Results from Sessions with Deborah

The clients I have worked with have found EFT to be extremely beneficial for decreasing and/or resolving fibromyalgia pain, depression, grief, anxiety, phobias, resentment, self sabotage behaviors and issues underlying compulsive eating. See the "What People Are Saying" page.
